FIR

it was a good mini concert last night... it was held in bishan... i loveee their songs!! joanne told me about faye's lack of ability to sing live.. hmm.. a bit true.. but it was great on the whole...

ok.. this was what happened.. xiuhui n i had won tickets to FIR showcase... so we went to collect our ticks outside long john silver at bishan... apparently there was a crowd sitting down near the counter.. being curious, i asked the in-charge.. she told me that these people had turned up very early, so they'll be the 1s to go in 1st. collection time from 3-5pm and performance at 6pm. it was already 430pm at that time, so xh n i went to macs for snacks. after meeting lisa, we went to sembawang n looked for the FIR album... i should have bought 1 too.. *sobs*.. anyway, xh bought 1... cuz there'll be an autograph session after the 'concert'... it was about 530pm when we decided to join in the queue outside long john silver as the crowd waiting outside the open garden was growing bigger.. as we walked to long john silver, a section of the queue actually started movin and walkin... so we sort of joined them.. haha... cut queue lo... i was super shy... pity those people at the back... those stupid ones la... =x

it was quite a lucky day la... from cuttin queue to squeezin to the front... i really have to thank xiuhui ar... she actually brought us from row 6 to row 1... we were in the fans' row eh.. haha... which means we were mostly blocked by those signboards n 'hand' boards... damn irritating... anyway... it was really lucky of us to get to the 1st row la... managed to see quite a lot at such a close distance...

mi-lo bing was there to start off the whole event.. my 1st encounter with them... seems that they really have a talent in instruments... they performed 2-3 songs... those songs were not bad after they did their remix..

then fir came out... lisa n i almost went mad when we saw each one coming out... haha... their performance was good... they did quite a lot of songs... past + new songs... yummy... from 645-8pm... hee... ok.. it was time for autograph session.. hmm.. only xh had cd.. how.. luckily, the guy behind me had an extra cd.. so i asked him to lend me... he gladly did.. HENG ar... i think i was the 7th person to go up the stage... 1st to sign was ah qin, procedure was that he signed the cd then looked up and shook my hand. is it jus my thoughts, but i think ah qin actually glanced at me the 2nd time when he shook my hand.. our hands was danglin there for a few seconds till we really parted... ooo.. so interesting... stupid xh told me that.. it could jus be that ah qin got a shock seein a more matured 'fan' after seein those 6 kids in front of me. hmm.. dont know la! argh...

heee.. i love FIR songS!!! rock rock rock!
